Experience

Before founding Morgan Business Solutions in Chicago — now headquartered in Dallas — Derrick gained valuable experience as an associate attorney at an Indianapolis law firm, where he also served as associate general counsel for USA Badminton.

His professional background is rooted in sports law, with roles at several other notable organizations, including the NCAA, USA Track & Field and the Indiana Sports Corp. Derrick has also honed his litigation skills across multiple federal districts, handling cases from New York to Illinois to Colorado.

Interests

Outside of his legal career, Derrick enjoys quality time with family, friends and his dog.

He also enjoys track and field, boxing, contemporary art, supporting his beloved Hoosiers, and videograph his travel adventures.

A passionate globetrotter, Derrick is well over half way to his goal of exploring 100 countries.
